Expanding Sports Tourism in Christian County

We had the opportunity to sit down with the team at Springfield Area Sports Commission to discuss current sports assets in Christian County and opportunities for growth in sports tourism in our region. Christian County is ripe with opportunity to expand sports tourism.

We also spoke with Michael Sylvara, Owner and Operator of Volleyball Beach Ozark, the nation's largest indoor beach volleyball facility. Michael and his team are leading the charge in utilizing unique sporting interests and opportunities to impact sports tourism. Volleyball Beach Ozark brings in athletes and spectators from all over the country, with activities ranging from recreational all the way to Olympic-level competition.
